Laurinda is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a B.Com Degree in Accounting obtained from Otago University in 2013. Originally from South Africa, she has spent 9 years in Dunedin before deciding to move to Wanaka. She is a new member of the Findlay family, but has already impressed clients with her straight up but sound communication skills and exciting approach to accounting.

She has worked in most manners of accounting roles, but prefers management accounting. She has a great eye for detail and the ability to explain your position and accounting matters to you in terms you can relate to. She enjoys solving problems and implementing more effective processes and systems to improve efficiencies within SMEs, to ensure her clients have more freedom of time and peace of mind when it comes to their business affairs.

Laurinda always takes a proactive approach and enjoys building meaningful and long standing relationships. She has experience in business valuations, due diligence processes, budgeting and cashflow reporting and finance applications to name a few and enjoys assisting her clients with growing their business to become profitable. She aims to become a trusted advisor and point of call for all of her clients’ business decisions and needs, and can assist you from inception of your company, to sale process and everything in between.

In her private time, she enjoys spending time with friends and loves animals, trying new things and living life to the fullest. She wants every day to contain laughter and fun. She provides dog sitting services in her personal time and would love to meet some clients with horses that may need some ‘cuddles’ too!
