We love to see our clients soaring to new heights and here’s a great example! Veteran film-makers, Iguana Films, which has gained a reputation internationally in documentary production, is now homing in on the local market.
Their new company, Birds Eye Productions, showcases the work of owner, photographer and documentary producer, Paul Roy. Paul works with his producer/writer wife, Jenny Ainge developing multimedia projects from their home office in Beacon Point Road. All research, pre-production, and post are done in Wanaka. They both travel locally and internationally to film their projects.
After thirty odd years traveling the globe making documentaries and TV series, the couple now enjoy being home more and since 2017 they have been producing local corporate, photographic and digital film work. Their clients include real-estate agencies, health and community networks, tourism and corporate videos for trade fairs and investor relations roadshows.
With a solid background of international digital story telling they are keen to work with more companies in their local network of Wanaka, Queenstown and the wider Southern Lakes and Central Otago.
We wish Paul & Jenny all the very best for their new venture!
Jenny has worked extensively with international broadcasters starting with the BBC and London Weekend Television and moving on to ARD and ZDF in Germany. Jenny has worked on locations as diverse as war zones in Asia and remote locations in Africa and Kimberley, Western Australia. More recently, she also specialised in Oral History series with The Sexual Life of Us for SBS and Girls Own War Stories for the ABC. 2018 sees Jenny back producing feature stories for ARD Singapore Bureau.
